Requirements, Fees and Registration information
The Mission of the Peachtree Corners Waverunners Swim Team is to expose and promote the sport of swimming in an atmosphere where the participants have fun, improve skills, and experience success. In order to ensure the safety of each swimmer, there are basic skills that a child needs before becoming a Waverunner.
Requirements
To join our main team (The Waverunners), your child is NOT expected to know every stroke, however, the requirements for all new swimmers are as follows:
- All swimmers 7 and up must be able to swim one lap of the pool (25 yards) by the mock meet. The stroke does NOT have to be legal, but the swimmer needs to be safe in the water. If a swimmer cannot fulfill these requirements, they will be refunded their payment minus $50 and any league fees.
- Swimmers age 6 and under who cannot swim a length of the pool (25 yards) by the mock meet will be moved to the Jr. Waverunners.
- Please meet with the Head Coach in the first week of practice if you are unsure if your child will meet the criteria for meets.
If your child needs additional help to reach these criteria, please consider lessons.
Fees for 2026 Swim Season
- $190 First swimmer, plus $28 league fee
- $160 Second swimmer, plus $28 league fee
- $105 Third Swimmer, plus $28 league fee
- $95 Additional swimmer(s), plus $28 league fee
- $25 flat fee for swimmers ages 15-18, plus $28 league fee (Team shirts for 15+ need to be purchased separately during registration, they are not included in the registration)
- PCSR members receive a $50 credit for the first two swimmers, capped at $100, essentially lowering the fees to $140 for the first swimmer and $110 for the second. No credit for swimmers 15-18.
- League fees are $28 per swimmer, plus any applicable service charge.
*Fees increase by $5 per swimmer after April 1st
*A late fee will of $25 per family for ANY registrations after May 1st
Reminder - If your child plans to participate in a swim meet, a parent must serve in a volunteer position for half of the meet. More details can be found on the Volunteers page.
