Good morning Waverunner families,

Well it has been a little cooler than we hoped for this first week of practice, but our apparently immune to cold kids have been in the pool every day! Today we will have practice at the same time in the afternoon, then next week Mon-Wed we have afternoon practice with high school first. Thursday we have our first morning practice and our Mock Meet and Friday May 22nd-Monday May 25th is a break.

The New Parent Meeting is today at 5:30 pm in the pavilion. This is an opportunity for anyone not familiar with the team or swim meets to get information and ask questions. Please join us if you are new to the team. If your child was a wavecrawler or walker last year and is moving up to the Waverunners, please attend.

Thursday May 21st is our Picture Day and Mock Meet. The times recorded for this meet will be used to seed events for future meets. We ask that all 12 and under swimmers participate in this meet if able to have seed times and get used to lining up and starting, etc. We will send out the link to RSVP next week. There will be concessions at the meet.

Pictures are a little different this year. We are trying out a new way by age group. If you have kids in multiple age groups, come to the oldest one's time slot:

3 pm: 15-18

3:20 pm 13-14

3:40 pm 10-12

4 pm Team photo

4:15 pm 8-9

4:30 pm 6-7

4:45 pm 3-5

We would love our teens to help with the Mock Meet and cheer on their younger teammates on Thursday. And if your child is not quite ready to compete in a meet, this is a great one to watch- it will be shorter and much less crowded than dual meets.
