Dear Waverunners,

What an incredible finish to our season! We are so proud of every single swimmer on our team. The hard work at practice all summer long clearly paid off, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how the team performed at the County Swim Meet this past weekend.

We finished with 1,242.5 points, placing 20th out of 39 teams, and beating two teams in our region! Full results are attached below, with overall scores listed at the end of the PDF.

A huge thank you to all the parents for your support, cheers, and volunteering throughout the season. You are a big part of what makes our team so special.

Mark your calendars! Our end-of-season awards ceremony will be held on August 2nd at 10:00 AM. We hope to see everyone there to celebrate an incredible season together!

Congratulations to all of our swimmers who competed at Georgia Tech last weekend! We are so proud of all of you.

Summer swim is such an amazing sport for all of our kids, not only because of the exercise they get, but because of the friendships and teamwork they experience. It is also a labor of love from all of the families who work hard to make sure that each season comes together and we can run these very labor intensive meets. Thank you to all of our parents who were willing to show up and help before, during, and after the meets to make this season successful. We truly could not do this without each family being willing to volunteer.

We hope that your kid(s) will come back next summer to the Waverunners, we are working on a few ideas to make sure our team thrives in the coming years and we would love each swimmer to return next year (and even bring a friend) to the most fun team around. We know that there are more competitive teams, but we hope that we offer more than just skill building and workouts for the summer season. 

We are all excited to celebrate our Waverunners on August 2nd for a breakfast banquet and awards ceremony. More details to come. Have a great rest of summer!
