Hello Waverunner Families!

Please take a look at the attached spreadsheet to determine if one or more of your children are in the Top 75 for the Gwinnett County Championship Swim Meet. For those new to county, here is how it works: if the swimmer is in the top 50 on the county list after the meet with the Fields Club on 6.26, they automatically qualify for county. They will need to declare if they are going or not and what events they are swimming if they qualify for more than 3. Three individual events is the limit, just like in regular meets. If they are #51-75 and they want to go, then we will submit their names to the county.Once everyone has declared if they are going and what events they are swimming, they will fill up unused slots with those over 50. Therefore, we will also need to know if your child wants to go even if they are above #50. Depending on the event/age group, ranks into the 70's often make it. The rankings are listed in the excel attachment after their event, next to their time. Also, there will be relays at county so they may be needed for that in addition to their individual events. It is a fun time hanging out with their age group and swimming at the Georgia Tech pool! After the Home meet on Thursday, the rankings will change. You can find the weekly results at Weekly Results - Gwinnett County Swim League. 

Below is the address and the schedule of the Gwinnett County meet. There is also information on how to order county merchandise if you would like. The due date to order is June 23rd at midnight. County is held at Georgia Tech McAuley Aquatic Center (750 Ferst Drive, Atlanta, GA 30318) July 11th-13th.

The County Championship merchandise store is open for orders. You can place your order now and merchandise will be delivered to you prior to the meet. Pre-sale orders will be available until June 23rd @ midnight. We will have a limited supply of items at the county meet for purchase, however sizes and styles cannot be guaranteed.
