Happy Saturday Waverunners,

What great weather for our first home meet! We hosted the SC Sharks and they took a bite out of us with a final score of SC 1090-PCNM 371. The Sharks are the most challenging team in our region and I am so proud of each and every Waverunner who swam Thursday. We had an impressive 63 swimmers beat at least one of their best times this week!  Great job everyone! Meet results attached.

And last week I made a mistake, Olivia Zenon was our 10 & under Girl Top Gun- Congrats Olivia!

I want to thank all of our volunteers who helped to make this meet so successful, we truly cannot do this without everyone working together.

Special thanks this week to Amanda Caskey for her work setting up while not feeling great and the rest of the set up crew, Ian and Natalie Kennel for singing the National Anthem, Keith Parker, John Kroening, and Danny Cayman for handling our surprise power outage and getting the lights back on, and especially all of our families who stayed after to put the pool deck back together. I have never seen it returned to order so quickly and I truly appreciate each person who helped. I know that there were some families who were not slated to help this week that also stayed to help. Thank you all for your hard work!

• Order Lucky Ducks are a fun way to let your swimmer know you are cheering them on before a meet! Order form open for 6/12 - click HERE to order - closes Wednesday 6/11 by 10PM.

• If your swimmer will attend evening practice, please sign up on the form at the pool or email me. All swimmers who compete in meets are welcome to attend, but need to sign up for us to have enough coaches. There is no evening practice on June 11th due to the party.
