Meet recap BERK
Hi Waverunners!
What a wet first meet! Despite the rain and the cold pool, we did not have any delays and are so thankful that we were able to complete the meet! So proud of our swimmers! Many swimmers beat at least one of their times and James Sorensen set a new record for the backstroke! The final meet result was BERK 848 - PCNM 640. I’ve attached the results to this email.
Lost and Found - please double-check our lost and found for items that were left at practice and the Berkley Hills pool. We will donate these items monthly if not claimed.
Ribbons: all ribbons for the meet are in the mailboxes at the pool. Please double check these. Swimmers who rank 1-6 in individual meets should get those place ribbons and any swimmer who did not get DQ'ed in 7th and up place gets a participation (purple) ribbon. If your swimmer beat their best time they should receive a speed breaker (rainbow) ribbon. Please let Vanessa Graves ([email protected]) know if your swimmer is missing a ribbon.
If your swimmer got duplicate ribbons for an event, meaning a place ribbon and a purple ribbon (not rainbow ribbons), please take off the label and place the extra purple ribbons in the Ribbons folder at the pool. If your older swimmers do not want purple ribbons, you can return these so we can reuse them.
If you would like extra lessons with our coaches please check the board for their info. Coach Katie, Caroline, Becca, and Emily are offering lessons.
