Hello Waverunners! As the weather decides whether it is Winter or Spring, we are gearing up for the Summer 2025 Swim Season. I am excited to be the new chair of the swim board as my family celebrates our 10th season with the Waverunners!

We are ecstatic to announce Katie Sorensen is returning to the team in the Head Coach role this year and we will need assistant and junior coaches, as well as interns, to help make this summer season fun and safe. If your 13+ swimmer is interested in one of these roles, please have them complete an application by March 23rd.

Registration is now open and we are inviting swimmers 3+ to sign up soon, late fees apply after April 15th. The links for everything you need, including the calendar for dates we have so far are below.

REGISTRATION: Registration for Swim Team is now open! Registration also includes our Jr. Waverunners. The Jr. Waverunner program is for new and emerging swimmers (ages 3-4). To register all swimmers, click HERE.

**A $30 late fee will begin on Monday, April 15th. PLEASE register your swimmers on time! We hire coaches and schedule our practice times based on the number of registered swimmers.

MEET AND GREET EVENT: Tentative Date March 29th. Details coming soon.

PRACTICES: Practice will begin Monday, May 12th. Full schedule of practices is linked HERE. (Depending on the number of swimmers registered, we may have to alter the practice times slightly. As we get closer to May 12th we will let you know if these times will change.)

MEETS: We will swim five dual meets this season. Here is our updated schedule for this season:

APPLICATIONS OPEN: ASSISTANT COACHES, JUNIOR COACHES & INTERNS: We are looking to hire assistant and junior coaches and interns. If you are 13 & up and are interested in being an assistant or junior coach or an intern please apply HERE. The deadline for the application is this Sunday, March 23rd at 9pm.

**The number of coaches we hire will be based upon the number of registered swimmers for our team.

VOLUNTEERING: We are looking for a few of you that might be interested in becoming Stroke and Turn certified judge officials as one of the volunteer positions. The training is online and you have to be 18 to act as a Stroke and Turn official.

We are also looking for a new Computer chair for 2026 who can train this season with Cayman James to take over for 2026.

PCSR SWIM/TENNIS MEMBERSHIP: Ready for summer already and want to join the PCSR pool? Do you (or your kids) want to play tennis year round? Click HERE for the website & to join. PCSR is a great club and has activities and events for your family year round. Plus - once you join, you can also get a $50 credit per swimmer off of your Swim Team Registration (max $100).
