Hi Waverunners! Tomorrow night is our last dual meet. The weather looks iffy so please make sure that you have registered with the Remind App (click HERE)! All weather delays will be communicated through the Remind App–not through Swimtopia.

MEET INFORMATION:

• Meet Schedule:
  • 5pm: Waverunners arrive (please don’t arrive before 4:50pm – the set-up crew will still be getting the deck ready for the meet!)
  • 5:10pm: Waverunners warm-up in the pool
  • 5:30pm: BERK (visiting team) warms up in the pool
  • 5:45pm: Mandatory Volunteer meeting for Timers and Stroke & Turn judges near the swim shed
  • 6pm: Meet Starts
• What to Bring?
  • Extra towels, Sunscreen, Goggles & swim caps, Sharpies, Bug Spray, Chairs, Copy of Heat Sheet (attached to email), Cash for concessions
• Where to park?
  • We will have limited spaces in the PCSR parking lot for tomorrow.
  • Simpsonwood UMC is allowing us to park in their parking lot for our Thursday night meets. They’ve asked that we only park in parking spaces (and not along curbs).
  • Please obey all “No Parking” signs

• Where to Go?
  • When you arrive, head to the Bullpen (under the pavilion).
  • Home team (us) is under the pavilion
  • BERK (the visiting team) is on the basketball court
  • Consult the Heat Sheet (attached) to learn which events your child will be swimming. Using a Sharpie, write your swimmer's events on his/her shoulder, arm, or leg.
  • Check the Relay Board (located in the bullpen)
• Remind App:
  • If we need to have a weather delay and clear the deck (due to thunder or lightning) I will communicate through the Remind App.

• Inclement Weather
  • If we have a weather delay and need to clear the pool deck, you will need to wait in your car. PLEASE DO NOT GO HOME!! I will communicate when to return to the pool deck through the Remind App.

• Please check in with your volunteer head when you arrive.
• WE NEED ALL FAMILIES TO VOLUNTEER DURING THE MEET!!! We CANNOT run a swim meet without all hands on deck!
• If you don’t know where to volunteer please find me (Kari Pieper), Ryan Corley, Mallory Even or Sara Kroening. We will show you where to go!

ADDITIONAL REMINDERS:

*PLEASE watch your kids and keep an eye on the bullpen staging number! To keep the meet running smoothly, the bullpen needs to line up the kids quickly and efficiently; the bullpen volunteers don’t have time to track down every missing swimmer. Please watch your kids, keep an eye on the bullpen staging number, and ensure your swimmer lines up on time.

*DO NOT LEAVE until you have checked the relay board! The relay board can and will change often during a swim meet…kids will also “swim up” and swim with an older age group…double and triple check your child’s name several times during the meet to see if he/she is needed for a relay!

*Any WEATHER DELAYS will be communicated via the Remind App. Not registered? Please register HERE

*TIME TRIAL: Monday 6/26 @ 6pm*

We have a Time Trial scheduled for Monday, 6/26 @ 6pm at the PCSR pool. This is open to any swimmer who would like a chance to improve his/her times for county. Swimmers may pick UP TO THREE individual events to swim on Monday. (We will not be swimming any relays)

RSVP for Monday’s Time Trial by Sat 6/24 @ noon. RSVP HERE

• To RSVP: Go to MEETS & EVENTS→PCNM LAST CHANCE TIME TRIAL→MEET ENTRY→EDIT
• Under ‘notes for coach’ please list UP TO THREE individual events that your child would like to swim.

**IF YOU DO NOT RSVP YOU WILL NOT BE ENTERED INTO THE MEET. Please RSVP by Noon on Saturday 6/24. The volunteer board needs time to print and prepare the meet documents for Monday.
