Hi Waverunners! This is a big week! Last week of practice (county practice begins next week), our last dual meet is on Thursday, and we get to celebrate our Wavewalkers on Friday in their “meet”! There’s lots of information below–please read through this email carefully and let me know if you have any questions. I will send out more info about the meet against Berkeley Hills on Wednesday.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Here is the practice schedule for this week Monday - Thursday (6/19 - 6/22):

• Endurance (M/T/W): 7:15am - 8:15am (For 11&ups who want a more challenging practice)
• 7 & 8s: 8:15am - 9:00am
• 6 & unders: 9:00am - 9:30am
• 9 & 10s: 9:30am - 10:30am
• 11 & ups: 10:30am - 11:30am

Earlier today Kristin Rosencrants sent an email to the swimmers ranked in the Top 100 with detailed information about county, including how to order merchandise. Questions about county? PASTA POTLUCK: SIGN UP for the Team’s Pasta Potluck (RSVP coming soon)

Ilene Roberts & Jackie Giera are the team’s social chairs and are hosting a pasta potluck on Wednesday before our last Home Meet. Sign up for a dish and join us on Wednesday 6/21 from 6pm - 8pm at the pool! *Pasta potluck is rain or shine. :)

SENIOR NIGHT: Thursday is our last home meet of the season and we will honor the two seniors on our team. Plan on staying to the end of the meet for an ice cream social and to congratulate our seniors. You can’t have too much sugar on Thursday nights, right?!?

WAVEWALKER “MEET”: Please join us this Friday 6/23 from 10am - 11am for an extra special FUN FRIDAY! We will celebrate our swimmers, eat donuts, slime our coaches AND we will also cheer on our Wavewalker swimmers! Our coaches will assist our Wavewalkers in swimming one lap across the pool in their very own “meet”.

STROKE CLINIC:  Stroke Clinics. Did your swimmer DQ at the meet? Need some extra help with a stroke? Sign up for a stroke clinic (or two)! $15 per session, per swimmer. :)

• To register for a stroke clinic on Saturday, June 24th HERE
  • 9am - 9:45am: Starts & Finishes (all ages)
  • 9:45am - 10:30am: Turns (all ages)
  • 10:30am - 11:15am: Breaststroke & Butterfly (7 & up)

AWARDS CEREMONY: Please join us at the pool on WEDNESDAY, JULY 5th from 6pm - 8pm to celebrate our awesome season! We will celebrate our wonderful Waverunner swimmers and cheer on our swimmers headed to county. RSVP coming soon!

TIME TRIAL 6/26 @ 6pm: We will host a Time Trial on Monday 6/26 for any swimmer who would like to improve times for county for up to THREE individual events. I will send out more information later this week on how to RSVP for the time trial.
