Hi Waverunners! Tomorrow night is our second meet of the season and we are away at Spalding Corners.  See below for important information for tomorrow’s meet.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

• Please obey all no-parking signs posted at Spalding Corners. Parking is VERY limited in their parking lot; you may use the cul-de-sac for drop-offs and then park elsewhere in the neighborhood.
• PLEASE watch your kids and keep an eye on the bullpen staging number! **OUR BULLPEN AREA IS IN THE GRASSY AREA NEXT TO THE PARKING LOT. PLEASE STAY WITH YOUR KIDS, WATCH THEM, AND HELP THEM LINE UP PROPERLY FOR EACH EVENT!!! To keep the meet running smoothly, the bullpen needs to line up the kids quickly and efficiently; the bullpen volunteers don’t have time to track down every missing swimmer. Please watch your kids, keep an eye on the bullpen staging number, and ensure your swimmer lines up on time.
• DO NOT LEAVE until you have checked the relay board! The relay board can and will change often during a swim meet…kids will also “swim up” and swim with an older age group…double and triple check your child’s name several times during the meet to see if he/she is needed for a relay!
• Any WEATHER DELAYS will be communicated via the Remind App. Not registered? Register HERE

MEET SCHEDULE for THURSDAY 6/1:

• 5:15pm: Waverunners Arrive
• 5:30pm: Waverunners Warm-up
• 5:45pm: Mandatory Meeting for Timers and Stroke & Turn Judges (at starter table)
• 6pm: Meet starts

TEAM BULLPEN AREA:

We will be located in the grassy area next to the parking lot / playground. Please bring chairs and extra towels to sit on!! IT IS ALSO VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU WATCH YOUR CHILDREN!! PLEASE KNOW WHERE THEY ARE AT ALL TIMES AND PAY ATTENTION TO THE BULLPEN STAGING NUMBERS.

VOLUNTEERS:

*Please check in with your head volunteer when arriving at the meet.

*Timers will have a mandatory meeting at 5:45pm at the starter table

*Stroke & Turn judges will meet at 5:45pm with the head official behind the starter table.

WHAT TO BRING:

• Extra towels
• Sunscreen
• Filled water bottle
• Goggles & swim caps
• Flashlights (the parking lot is not very well lit after dark)
• Sharpies
• Bug Spray
• Chairs
• Copy of Heat Sheet (attached to email)
• Money for concessions

CONCESSIONS MENU

Spalding Corners will be selling BBQ chicken sandwiches, hamburgers/cheeseburgers, hotdogs, uncrustables, chips, candy and drinks throughout the evening. Menu with prices is attached to email.
