Hi Waverunners!

What an awesome meet last night! I know it was hot (really hot) and we didn’t win the meet but our swimmers did so well! The final meet result was FLDS 814 - PCNM 696. I’ve attached last night's results to the email (There are a few errors with some of the swimmers listed in relays that I did not catch last night. We are working to correct those.) 

Congratulations to our TOP GUN SWIMMERS this week!!! Wear your Top Gun swim cap proudly and display your Top Gun yard sign this week. Great job swimmers!

**CHECK THE LOST & FOUND TODAY! I will be clearing out the lost and found after today’s Fun Friday. Please double check for missing towels, goggles, swim caps, shoes, etc.

TIME TRIAL: Monday 6/27 @ 6pm

We have a Time Trial scheduled for Monday, 6/27 @ 6pm at the PCSR pool. This is open to any swimmer who would like a chance to improve his/her times for county. Swimmers may pick UP TO THREE INDIVIDUAL EVENTS to swim on Monday. (We will not be swimming any relays)

• Under ‘notes for coach’ please list UP TO THREE individual events that your child would like to swim.

**IF YOU DO NOT RSVP YOU WILL NOT BE ENTERED INTO THE MEET. Please RSVP by Noon on Sunday 6/26. The volunteer board needs time to print and prepare the meet documents for Monday.

PRACTICE NEXT WEEK: We will have a normal practice schedule on Monday morning (specifically for the swimmers who are participating in the time trial Monday evening). Tuesday begins our County Practice Schedule.

MONDAY PRACTICE SCHEDULE:

• Endurance: 7:15am - 8:15am (For 11&ups who want a more challenging practice)
• 7 & 8s: 8:15am - 9:00am
• 6 & unders: 9:00am - 9:30am (No Wavewalkers)
• 9 & 10s: 9:30am - 10:30am
• 11 & ups: 10:30am - 11:30am

*New this year…GCSL will now charge a $100 no-show fee to any swimmer that commits to swimming at county but does not show. PLEASE CHECK YOUR CALENDARS CAREFULLY before responding yes!!

AWARDS CEREMONY: Please join us at the pool on THURSDAY, JULY 7th from 6pm - 8pm to celebrate our awesome season! We will celebrate our wonderful Waverunner swimmers and cheer on our swimmers headed to county. Please click HERE to sign up to bring a dish to share.
