Hi Waverunners! 

This is a big week! Last week of practice (county practice begins next week), our last dual meet is on Thursday, and we get to celebrate our Wavewalkers on Friday in their “meet”! There’s lots of information below–please read through this email carefully and let me know if you have any questions. I will send out more info about the meet against Fields Club on Wednesday.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Here is the practice schedule for this week Monday - Thursday (6/20 - 6/23):

• Endurance (M/T/W): 7:15am - 8:15am (For 11&ups who want a more challenging practice)
• 7 & 8s: 8:15am - 9:00am
• 6 & unders: 9:00am - 9:30am
  • Wavewalkers (Session 1) 9am - 9:30am
  • Wavewalkers (Session 2) 9:30am - 10am
• 9 & 10s: 9:30am - 10:30am
• 11 & ups: 10:30am - 11:30am

Last Week of Regular Practice = SPIRIT WEEK!! The coaches have planned extra special practices this week since Thursday is the last day of practice for the season (practice will continue next week for swimmers who are in the Top 100 for county). Plan to join in on the FUN!!!

• MONDAY: T-shirt day! Wear a t-shirt over your bathing suit during practice!
• TUESDAY: Coach’s surprise!!  :)
• WEDNESDAY: Dive for pennies!
• THURSDAY: Popsicles after practice!

Earlier today Debra Bash sent an email to the swimmers ranked in the Top 100 with detailed information about county, including how to order merchandise. Questions about county? RECORD BOARD: Thanks so much for all of your generous donations! We reached our goal and ordered the record board two weeks ago! It’s currently in production and we hope to have it by our awards ceremony. Click HERE to see what our record board will look like.

WAVEWALKER “MEET”: Please join us this Friday 6/24 from 10am - 11am for an extra special FUN FRIDAY! We will celebrate our swimmers, eat donuts, slime our coaches AND we will also cheer on our Wavewalker swimmers! Our coaches will assist our Wavewalkers in swimming one lap across the pool in their very own “meet”.

AWARDS CEREMONY: Please join us at the pool on THURSDAY, JULY 7th from 6pm - 8pm to celebrate our awesome season! We will celebrate our wonderful Waverunner swimmers and cheer on our swimmers headed to county. Please click HERE to sign up to bring a dish to share. *We have pushed back the awards ceremony to July 7th…our awards vendor is experiencing a delay and may not have all of the awards by this Friday. Please forgive me for this change but I just learned of the shipping delays this week.

SPIRIT NIGHT @ Taquería del Mar 6/22: Please join the Waverunners for a Spirit Night Fundraiser at Taquería del Mar on Wednesday. If you mention the Waverunners and the PCSR pool, our team will get a percentage of food sales donated back to us. Thanks for supporting our team!

TIME TRIAL 6/27 @ 6pm: We will host a Time Trial on Monday 6/27 for any swimmer who would like to improve times for county for up to THREE individual events. I will send out more information later this week on how to RSVP for the time trial.
