Hi Waverunners!

What a great first day of swim practice! I’m so thankful that the weather was beautiful and that the kids were able to swim in the pool! I wish I could have gotten audio of the nine and ten year old girls as they jumped into the pool--their shrieks of laughter were contagious! :)

I want to thank all of you that took time to share with me both in person and via email your views and opinions on the COVID protocols. I have taken these suggestions to the swim team board and we have been able to make the following changes, effective immediately:

• Masks are encouraged but not required on the pool deck
• Swimmers and parents may enter the pool deck before their swim practice to wait for the swimmer’s age group to be called

**WE ARE STILL REQUIRING THAT ALL PERSONS ON THE POOL DECK MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCE OF SIX FEET**

• Saturday Stroke Clinics: REGISTRATION IS LIVE! We are offering stroke clinics on Saturdays for our swimmers. Cost is $15 per swimmer per one-hour session. Please see the signup for dates, times, and strokes. During these sessions our coaches may be in the water with the swimmers to help give instructions. Because of this our coaches will not be social distancing and will not wear a mask during the stroke clinics. Register HERE
