PCSR WAVERUNNERS 2021 SWIM PROTOCOL & PROCEDURES
FOR ALL SWIM PRACTICES
GUIDELINES FOR COVID-19 RISK REDUCTION
- If the swimmer and/or anyone in their household has the following symptoms, please stay home: mild to severe respiratory illness with fever, cough and difficulty breathing, or other symptoms identified by the CDC
- Swimmers should come to practice dressed and ready to swim (restrooms should not be used for changing and are for emergency use only)
- Wearing a facemask to/from the parking lot to the pool deck is encouraged but not required
- If the swimmer or anyone in the household has tested positive for COVID-19, please do not attend swim practices or swim meets for 10 days per CDC guidelines. Be sure to notify the Swim Team Board ASAP if your child tests positive ([email protected]).
ENTERING AND EXITING FACILITY
- All persons (swimmers, parents and volunteers) are encouraged but not required to wear a face covering when on the pool deck.
- Hand sanitizer will be available at the front gate for all swimmers/parents to use when entering
- Swimmers should arrive in swimsuits ready to swim, carry minimal personal belongings, and are encouraged to exit the facility immediately upon completion of swimming
- Swimmers are encouraged to not participate in extracurricular or social activity on the pool deck before and after practice
- In order to keep the number of people on the pool deck as low as possible during practices, we are encouraging parents to not attend practices; However, if a parent would like to attend practice, he/she will need to maintain social distance from others and is encouraged to wear a face mask.
